How we measure it
A trim is compared only with itself: the same make, model and catalogue trim, sold new in its newest model year and the year before, each with at least 5 live listings confirmed as that exact trim. Prices are medians of what dealers ask today; listings under 50% or over 200% of list are left out as likely mismatches. Price cuts come from each listing's recorded price changes since we started tracking, counted on whole days only. We don't repeat claims about the best month or sale season until our own data covers it.
